Project Based Learning

The increased availability of technology has opened the doors to a different approach for teaching and learning. Project Based Learning allows teachers to become facilitators for students as they develop the skills necessary for success in our new world. However, due to the vast amount of change over the last two decades in particularly, many, if not most, teachers have little experience in this approach. I myself can only think of one teacher who utilized anything close to this in my education.

This page will be dedicated to providing information on how to best use Project Based Learning (PBL) and how to implement such a system into your curriculum. If you are looking for a way to engage your students, stimulate their curiosity, and exceed all standards, this is the way to do that.

  • A highly recommended website to register at is The Buck Institute for Education

    • It is dedicated to providing information, guidance, and tools for teachers who want to implement PBL in their classroom.
    • Especially helpful is the "Tools" section.
